Cambridge IGCSE (Ages 14-16) Years 10-11.
International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) builds on the foundations of Cambridge International Lower Secondary.
Cambridge IGCSE is the worlds’ most popular international qualification for 14-16 year olds. It is recognised by all South African Universities and
is an international passport to progression and success.
IGCSE offers a flexible curriculum with a choice of 70 subjects in any combination.
There are no compulsory subjects and students are free to study a range of subjects.
Cambridge IGCSE are subject-based qualifications (learners are awarded one certificate for each subject) and is usually taken over a two years. There is a wide variety of routes for learners with a wide range of abilities. It caters for different levels of ability with a choice of core and extended examinations in some subjects.
